10 Months!

I may be a few days late but little Corbin is 10 months old!!

Well C man has reached double digits (according to Hallie he is still zero!) Our "goals" for him when we started therapy was for him to sit at 10 months and crawl by 12. After that we would see about walking. I can say that Corbin is darn close to being a sitter. I can sit him down and walk away. I do put a pillow directly behind him so he doesn't hurt himself. He mostly falls forward or to the sides when he is done sitting. Next step is to work on catching ourselves and to go from the sitting position to the crawling position.

Corbin has also started putting more of his weight on his legs. I put him up to the ottoman and he is able to lean against it and stand briefly (while we prep for the fall). We are continuing to work on this as well as getting him to push his chest away from the object he is using to hold himself up.

Sorry for the overload of pictures, but his expressions are hilarious. I love his smile!

Look below!! He will hold his bottle (briefly!). But its progress! We celebrate every little victory!

On to month 11 we go! We are so proud of this little guy. He is rolling everywhere and getting into mischief. We can see him gaining strength daily. We have been battling drainage from his ears for the last couple of weeks, but I think we finally have it under control. Let's keep this little guy as healthy as we can to keep him going forward! We go back to Iowa City this month to start the process of genetic testing. I am still waiting on a call back from the Dr. to let us know what we need to do before we get up there. We are praying we find an answer, but hoping it is something minor that won't affect Corbin long term.
